Award winning for a reason!
By E. Arrington
I use my Hubba Hubba for solo and two-man backpacking trips, and sadly my last tent made it's way to tent heaven. This is the second of it's kind to make it's way into my pack, and while it's not the lightest of the light, it has so much else going for it.The weight is actually quite nice in comparison to this tent's contemporaries. It's very simple to pitch, my 11 year old can do it in less than 2 minutes.Plenty of room for solo sleeping, as well as a "man-sized" human and possibly another of equal or lesser size. I have only slept 2 adults in my HH once, and while it was tight by my personal standards, no lines of decency were ever breached. Two bags, side by side, toes to ears, it was really quite roomy. Plenty of room to sit up and drink a cup of coffee or simply stretch out a bit before feeding the mosquitoes. This being my second of this make, I feel speaks volumes for the quality in all facets. I look forward to carrying this tent on my back for many miles to come.

Quit wasting time, buy this tent.
By Todd in Memphis
I'll admit, I'm not the expert on outdoor equipment, but I can tell you this. I've hauled this tent up Mt Whitney, through the Ozarks and just over a week on the AT and it has never let me down. A friend bought a competing product that weighed around a pound lighter. He has admitted on more than one occasion that he wished that he should have went with the Hubba Hubba. It sets up fast. There has been a few times where I hit my site just before dark and I can have this thing setup in 2 minutes or less. I've also setup and broken it down in the dark without any problems. There is a single pole that begins to automatically snap into place thanks to a elastic cord that runs through it. You will have to guide a couple into their slots, but there is no guesswork on how. I've been in rain where the water got funneled under the tent. I literally placed my hand on the tent floor and it was floating on two inches of water, the inside was still dry. I don't know if it would have survived the night that way, but it stayed dry long enough for me to move to higher ground. The double door is a must. Even if you plan on using it as a 1 person tent, there will be a time where you'll get crammed into a spot and it's great to be able to get out of the other side. If you use it as a two person tent, then like most, you'll be shoulder to shoulder to the other person and in that situation, two doors are an absolute must. The vestibules work as described and have been able to keep my backpack and shoes dry. Of course, the vestibules aren't floored, so if water starts to pool up around your site, then items stored under it might get wet. If you use it as a 1 person tent, then there will be plenty of room inside for your backpack and equipment. I've probably used it 20 nights so far without any visible sign of wear or problems. On a recent trip I met a backpacker with a Hubba (the one man version) and he was just as pleased as I was. I'm 5'11" and have still have six inches or between my head and the wall. If you're taller than that, then double check the measurements to make sure it'll work for you. Also, I use a thermarest air mattress. 2 of them fit in without any problem, but they use most of the floor width. So, it's ok for 2 average sized people, if you are larger, then double check the measurements. Again, I don't have a lot of experience with other tents, but I feel like I got lucky when I decided on this one. I fully recommend it. Happy trails.

Best in Durability / Lightness Compromise
By Bedarda
I purchased my Hubba Hubba from HumbleOutdoors for about $270, it was shipped free to my home.Ok here is the skinny on the Hubba Hubba,It's not the lightest, or the most bombproof. But when all factors are considered, it does the best in the Durability / Lightness test, which is how a tent should be judged. The Hubba Hubba's side doors are a must for two person camping. It's size is best in class for a two person tent... cramped but adequate. The tent is well designed, so in my opinion, it's no surprise it's the best selling quality lightweight two person tent on the market.
