Product Description
The Apollo 5 is a 2-pole rectangular dome tent that will provide comfortable shelter 3 seasons out of the year no matter where you go. Weather it’s a trip to the backcountry or to the campground, Eureka’s StormShield technology combines moisture repelling materials with a tough reinforced construction that resists wear and tear. Extra weatherproof design features a bathtub floor that wraps up the sides of the tent, keeping seams high above the ground and water outside. There is plenty of room in this 2-man tent with a 35 sq ft floor area and a 4’ center height. Two vents and large areas of mesh in side walls enhance air circulation for added comfort. Two interior storage pockets are attached to keep your essential items handy. Another feature of the Apollo is quick set-up. The frame is made of durable shockcorded fiberglass poles that fit into color coded webbing with ring and pin attachments. Nothing better than a quick and easy set-up for a very comfortable tent.

We went camping for a surf trip. The tent was literally up in 2 minutes, amazing having never set it up before. It was very well constructed and had great ventilation. All my friends were tossing and turning in their tents because the gnats were out of control. Not me, a quick search on the interweb shows that eureka tents use a finer mesh screen, the gnats couldn't get in. Another friend had the exact same tent and raved about it. Perfect for 2 people, and enough for one to completely sprawl out in. The pockets are very handy and zippers easy to use.

What a fantastic tent. I just returned from two days in the backcountry enduring heavy rain and wind and it performed like a champ. There were absolutely no issues with leaking and everything remained intact like it should have. I am especially impressed with the high quality zipper system and the loft on the inside. Please note that the rainfly is NOT bright orange as advertised but a light beige. That is a little disappointing but I can live with it. This thing sets up and tears down in a flash too. I could literally set this tent up in pitch black darkness and in the middle of a storm in less than five minutes if I had to. Now, please note that this tent is only large enough for two people or one person with his/her gear. For me, it is just right for backpacking though.
