I specifically chose this cheap tent over the others cause it said it comes with a rain guard... well that's quite misleading since what they mean is they have a rain guard that is more or less one square foot that covers the tiny vent at the top of the tent. If they were more specific I would have bought another tent. In any case, I haven't used it yet, so I can't speak to it's weather hardiness... however, I'm assuming it works. Pluses include: good size, easy setup and rain/sludge proof bottom.

Its a single sided tent, No real rainfly. It would work in a bugout to a shelter, use it as a little privacy. Would not want to get caught in a rainstorm with this one as the poles are very thin(not very strong) and the little fly on top would be sure to leak. It does have a nice bathtub floor. If it's going to be a calm nite it would be fine and keep the bugs away.
