Product Description
Lightweight and compact, the multipurpose Eureka Isis 2XT two-person tent is ideal for backpackers who want to travel light. The tent is outfitted with a durable, shock-corded, freestanding fiberglass frame and a ring-and-pin/pole pocket assembly, making it easy to set up and extremely stable once it's open. Campers will also appreciate the pair of side-opening D-style doors, which are made entirely of no-see-um mesh. Not only do the doors add airflow to the tent--especially in conjunction with the pair of windows and side roof vents--but they also allow campers to enter and exit the tent without stumbling over their tentmates. Finally, the tent includes two full-coverage vestibules (one over each door), offering extra protection from the elements and additional gear storage. Other features include two mesh storage pockets, four clothes line loops, a flashlight loop, factory-sealed floor seams, a full-cut fly, and a pole pocket in the tent bag for hassle-free storage. All Eureka tents carry a lifetime warranty.

I was worried about purchasing this tent due to the lack of user reviews but that appears to be due to the fact its a newer model of Eureka's Apex 2XT. I imagine most reviews for the Apex hold true for the Isis. After setting it up, inspecting it and seam sealing the tent looks like its going to be a little workhorse. It comfortably fits me (5'11") and my pack and has ample vestibule space on both sides. Setup is quick & easy (2 poles and 6 stakes.) The surprise about this tent is the color which is not bright orange/yellow as pictured. I got this tent but later on returned it.it is a great tent for the price. it is easy to setup and very spacious for a 2 person tent.i want to clarify about the model. it is not a replacement for the Eureka Apex but instead it is a lower end model. the poles are made of fiberglass instead of aluminum. the windows don't have an extra cover.and the color is not the orange shown but instead a green/brown-ish color.not a bad quality tent for the price but i decided to pay a little more for a nicer one.

This tent is awesome. It has sturdy poles, it was comfortable with a good amount of windows and it looks well constructed. I would highly recommend this for any hikers as this is lightweight and not very big at all when it's in the pouch.
