Just bought this tent and used it for the first time last weekend camping / kayaking in black bear country. It's light weight and I set it up solo in about 10 min (highly recommend doing a test setup of the tent in your living room before your trip). It's nice that they include the footprint instead of charging extra like many other manufacturers do.It was plenty big inside the tent for myself, my backpack / gear, and a shotgun. It would fit two people comfortably but somewhat intimately (probably want to make sure it's a significant other), if your gear/packs were stored in the vestibules. The temps at night were around 55-65 degrees and I had no problems with condensation inside the tent with the rainfly on (a definite plus as my former tent,gander mtn. brand, had major condensation issues).It was tall enough to sit up in while using my cellphone w/o hitting my head on the ceiling. The "x-pole" design really helps to expand the headroom area of the ceiling. However, I found the interior length measurements of: 83" x 52" to be a bit off. I'm 5'11" (aka 71")and my sleeping bag is 78". When my 78" sleeping bag was laid out in the tent, there was about .5" of free space at the top and bottom of the tent where the sleeping bag wasn't touching the wall. The tent was staked out too.You also have to take into consideration that the wall of the tent angles up at a slant. A few times during the night when I'd shift position while sleeping my head or feet would brush the wall of the tent. Only a minor issue. I was able to sleep comfortably stretched out on my back, but would recommend the zia 3 (next size up) for anyone taller than 5'11" or wanting to use a regular thickness air mattress. I use a sleeping bag on top of a thin therma-rest neoair mattress, and that combo worked well in this size tent.All in all, a wonderful tent at a better price point than other tents in the same class that I researched. Can't wait to get out and use it again!

I like this tent. It was a little complicated to setup at first, but with two people who know what they are doing it is a snap. You can do it by yourself too, but it involves more walking around the tent and it helps to have it staked out first. So, what is nice about this tent?- two doors - no crawling over each other to get out for late night calls of nature.- foot print and vestibule - nice to have these included at this price point.- roominess - while the setup was a little more complicated than what I was originally looking for it pays off with more interior space. There is plenty of room for my wife and I to situp and play cards at night since the X pole at the top holds the sides out giving you vertical walls.- weight - seems pretty light, but we don't use it for backpacking.Not so nice?- the dimensions are given in the specs for this tent are probably for stake to stake, not actual interior length. So me being a couple inches under 6 ft I figured 83" long would be plenty for me, but the interior of the tent is more like 72". I need to set it up and take some actual interior measurements for an air mattress so I'll update this review once I do.

I spent my summer in Denali National Park, in Alaska, and this is the tent I chose to bring with me on my many many nights of backpacking. I have no regrets on that decision. Anyone who has been to Alaska knows that the weather can be unpredictable. I had nights of snow, heavy rain, and strong winds. This tent held up to it all. I never once thought that maybe the tent wasn't going to make it through the night. Even though I hiked solo on all of my trips, I like the extra space that this tent allows. Especially with the weather there, I like to keep my gear in the tent with me. My last tent had only one vestibule, and I loved having two on this tent. For me, this was like the White House of tents. Spacious, comfortable, plenty of storage, with the added bonus of a loft and footprint. This tent is the best tent I have ever purchased. I very highly recommend this tent.
